Natuist Society

American Association for Nude Recreation

Florida Association for Nude Recreation

Directions

The lake is only available to members and visitors on weekends--this means from noon Friday to Sunday evening.  Visits to the lake on any other day are considered trespassing and could jeopardize the club's rental agreement.

The first member to arrive unlocks the gate.  If you show up and the gate is locked, just park where you are not blocking the entrance, walk in, sign in, strip down and enjoy.  When a member arrives, you can then move your car into the parking section. Board members are usually available on Sunday afternoons, so we recommend that you make your first visit on a Sunday afternoon.

I-10 from Tallahassee

map: directions descripted in text

Take I-10 east to exit 225, US 19.   Turn left at the stop sign and go under the overpass.   Turn right on the first road, Thompson Valley Road. Follow Thompson Valley Road to the end.   Turn Right on to Turkey Scratch Road.   Nine-tenths of a mile down Turkey Scratch Road, look for the blue TN sign on the left.   Turkey Scratch Rd will take you over I-10 and then become a well maintained dirt road.
(The number is 1671, but it doesn't work well on all GPS programs.   If your GPS does not take you south, over I-10 don't believe it and keep going.....)

US 27 from Tallahassee

US-19 from Monticello

There are two main ways to get to the lake coming from Monticello. Turn left on Thompson Valley Road just before I-10 and follow the above directions; OR as soon as you see I-10 turn left on County Road 158. Take it east for three miles until you come to Turkey Scratch Rd, which is likely unsigned. Turkey Scratch Rd will take you over I-10 and then become a gravel road. The club's entrance is 1.6 miles down Turkey Scratch Road.  Look for the blue TN sign on the left. (The number is 1671, but it doesn't work well on all GPS programs.)
