Families

Tallahassee Naturally is a family-oriented organization. All events are open to parents and children. The club also publishes a booklet distributed to political leaders nationwide, Naturists: Upholders of Strong Family Values.

Our lake has a gently sloping beach ideal for children still learning to swim. Children also enjoy checking the sandy field for tracks of deer, raccoons, armadillos, and otters. Some toys and books are available. (We accept donations of things your children have outgrown. A swing set would be especially welcome.)

For older children, we have 40 wooded acres to roam, with an educational nature trail. We have frisbee, volleyball, badminton, and darts--plus a variety of water activities. While most of our members gladly keep an eye out for children's safety, children are still the responsibility of their parents. The grounds are rustic.

Families with children are especially encouraged to come on picnic days--the last Sunday of most months. Dates are listed on the club calendar.

In addition, state and national organizations offer some summer camp and scholarship opportunities for children of naturist families.
